Jan R. Fry

Jan R. Fry, 55, of Helena, died at his home on Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was born in Fremont on October 20, 1954, the son of Jack R. and Jean (Champion) Fry. He graduated from Gibsonburg High School, and later from Ohio State with an associates degree specializing in horses. He was a horseman who loved animals and raising dogs, cooking, canning and gardening. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg.

Jan is survived by his mother, Jean of Gibsonburg; sister, Cheryl (Paul) Everett of Newport, MI; niece, Stephanie Everett of Yuma, AZ; nephew, Chris Everett (Tracy) of Findlay; his companion, Lisa Spencer; and beloved pets, Jackson, Bella and Daisy. He was preceded in death by his father who passed away on June 10, 2003.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with one hour of visitation prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or to Zion Lutheran Church in Jans memory.
