Ohlen L. Fulton, 96, formerly of Fremont, died early Monday, July 24, 2006 at Genoa Assisted Living, Genoa, OH. He was born on July 25, 1909 to the now deceased Leslie and Floris (Elliott) Fulton in Peebles, OH. Ohlen was a 1927 graduate of Locust Grove High School. On June 11, 1936 he married Mary K. Shanks in Kentucky and she survives. He was a sales supervisor for Wonder Bread retiring in 1975. Olen was a life member of the Masons.
Sons survive him, Jack R. (Ruth) of Newark, OH, Richard (Rose) of Curtice, OH and Daniel C. (Mary) of Newark, OH; eleven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and sister, Analee (Dennis) Beekman of Springfield, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael D. Fulton; siblings, Alma (Harold) Vanderlute, Ruth (Cliff) Lawson, Charles (Carolyn) Fulton, Eugene (Alberta) Fulton and Russell (Adna) Fulton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with Maureen Pump, Certified Celebrant officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
