Virginia Rose Goodman

Virginia R. Goodman, age 80, formerly of Fifth Street, Fremont died early February 27, 2005 at Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont. She was born on October 9, 1924 in Sandusky County to Albert L. & Bertha (Schneider) Sebert. She married Jacob Hunter Goodman, her beloved husband of 44 years, on March 27, 1945. Virginia was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, feeding the birds, baking, and canning. She was a past member of Grace Brethren Church, Fremont.

She is survived by her sons James Hunter (Cynthia M.) of Maumee, Ohio, and Paul Thomas (Karyl L.) of San Diego, CA, her grandsons; Timothy Hunter (Stacy M.) Goodman of Annapolis, MD, James Alexander Goodman of Columbus, her great-granddaughter; Abigail M. Goodman of Annapolis, MD, and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jacob, brothers; LaMar & Raymond Sebert, sisters; Genevieve Sebert, Adeline Gwinup and Evelyn Sawyer, half brother; Charles Mincer, half-sisters; Stevna Hernandez and Maybelle Valedez. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 10-11 AM with funeral services beginning at 11 AM with Pastor Martha Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Harris-Elmore Cemetery, Elmore. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital or to the donors choice.
