Richard J. "Skip" Haden II, 50 of Fremont, died early Thursday morning at the Bellevue Hospital. He was born in Tecumseh, MI to Richard J. Haden and Shirley Oakes. On April 19, 1975 he married Deborah Simpkins and she survives. Also surviving are daughter, Michelle (Richie Green) Haden of Sandusky, son Brad (Kim Keck) Haden and daughter Lisa (Craig) Hasselbach, both of Fremont; granddaughter, Samantha Hasselbach; brother, Edward Thomas (Denise) Haden of Spartanburg, SC; stepbrother, John Darren Haden of Fremont; sister, Luria Lee (Asa) Davidson of Theodore, AL; and grandmother Edna McCafferty of Philadelphia, PA. Preceding Skip are his father, Richard J. Haden, Stepfather, John F. Oakes, stepbrother, Terry Joe Oakes and grandmother, Helen Kruse. Visitation was of Friday, September 3rd at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Services were held on Saturday at the funeral home with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
