Phyllis Marie Hagerty

Phyllis Marie Hagerty, 82 of South St., Fremont, passed away early Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Valley View Care Center. She was born on November 13, 1924 in Fremont to Oscar Clyde and Marie (Maier) Wilson. Phyllis was a 1942 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and was married to Russell J. Hagerty, Sr. He died in January 1991. Mrs. Hagerty was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.

Surviving is a son, Russell J. Hagerty, Jr. of Fremont, daughter Sue A. Wisbon of Concord, NC and daughter, Linda M. Johnson of Greenfield, CA. Also surviving is a brother, Wallace E. Wilson of Fremont; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Esther Slemmer and Anna May Cook. Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Friday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Quillen. There is no visitation. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church in Phyllis memory.
