Terry Lee Hamilton

November 23, 1952 — April 16, 2010

Terry Lee Hamilton, 57, died at his Helena home early Friday morning, April 16, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He had been fighting a courageous battle with bladder cancer for over three years.

Born on November 23, 1952 in Ashland, KY, he was a son of the now deceased Virgil and Betty (Goucher) Hamilton. Until the onset of his illness, Terry worked for McMillan Paving and Sealing in Columbus. A loving husband, father and papa, he enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, hunting squirrels and mushrooms, spending time with family and friends and collecting knives. He also cared for his squirrel hunting dogs, Sammy and Baby.

On June 16, 1990 he married Jennie Floyd in Woodville. She survives. Also surviving are children Lyla Magrum and Candy Kromer both of Helena and step daughter Sonya (Casey) Tibbs of Marysville; grandchildren, Felicia, Brandon, Cheyanne, Alyssa and Samantha; siblings, Bob (Sam) of Hessville, Virgil (Annie) of Richwood, Tom (Carol) of Marysville, Joe (Janet), Rick and Wayne Hamilton and Betty June (Seymour) Sturgil all of Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, stepson Chad Hamilton and brother, Kim.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 20, 10:30 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Gibsonburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

Burial will be at Hessville Cemetery
