Barbara Ann Haralson

June 9, 1952 — February 18, 2006

Barbara Ann (Lee) Haralson, 53, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend departed this life peacefully Saturday, February 18, at her Fremont home. She was born on June 9, 1952 to Eddie and Alleana (Gilmore) Lee, Sr. in Fremont. Affectionately known as Bar/Barb, she graduated with the class of 1971 from Fremont Ross High. Bar was employed by Union Carbide starting in her senior year of high school and continuing for over 18 years. After that she worked for Kelsey Hayes until retiring June 1, 2005. At an early age, Barbara was baptized at the First Baptist Missionary Church in Fremont and she also attended The Greater St. James Church of God in Christ. Later she became a faithful member at Cathedral of Praise East. Barbaras greatest joys were being a mother, family gatherings, outdoor grilling and taking care of her pet, Sam. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory a devoted son, Creighton Haralson; a loving mother, Alleana Lee; a cherished brother, Eddie Lee, Jr. and sisters, Robbie (Warren) Daniels, Mamie (Frank) Harper and Betty (Robert) Patterson, all of Fremont; two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lee, Sr., and grandmother, Vassie McCray. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22nd from 5-8 p.m. at the Cathedral of Praise East Church, corner of State Route 53 and County Road 41, Fremont. Additional visitation at the church will be from 10:00 11:00 a.m. on Thursday where services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Matt Coutcher will be the officiant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital in Barbaras name. Arrangements are being handled by the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.
