Bernice Haralson, 64 of Fremont died early Sunday, December 03, 2006 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 2, 1942 in Bassville, MS to the now deceased Charlie Carl and Lottie Mae (Reese) Griffith. Bernice attended Carver High School in Bassville. On May 1, 1960 she married Jewel Haralson and he survives. Bernice was a member of the First Baptist Missionary Church, Fremont, Mother at the church, Nurses Society with the First Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Surviving are children Charles Wayne (Angie Gutierrez) Griffin of Fremont, Thomas (Sandy) Haralson of Philadelphia, PA, Jerry (Jena) Haralson of Columbus, OH, Wilfred (Kim) Haralson of Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte (Cornelius) Brown of Columbus, OH and Rebecca (Malcom) Jones of Fremont; siblings, Hayes Griffith, Lucius Pete Griffith all of Bassville, MS, Edward Ned (Gina) Griffith of Pascagoula, MS, Nancy Caston of Gulf Port, MS and Ike Charles (Nannette) Griffith of Findlay, OH; 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and sister in laws Catherine Stubbs, Louise Haralson, Georgia Woodson, Deeiolie DeVaughn, Mary Price, Anita Reed and Bobbi Haralson. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Bobby Griffith, Carmon Christy and Augusta Griffith. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be held on Saturday at the First Baptist Missionary Church at 10 a.m. at church. Pastor William Holmes will officiate.
