Doris C. Hetrick, 88 of CR 128 Lindsey, died Tuesday morning at her family home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 3, 1917 in Lindsey to Tony A. & Mabel M. (Neeb) Boyer. Doris was a 1934 Graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On August 1, 1940 she married Marvin J. Hetrick and he survives. She was a housewife and had worked at Boyers Restaurant in Lindsey and at Brush Wellman cafeteria for her brother, Herbert Boyer. As a farm wife she kept the family farm running smoothly. Doris was a life member of Lindsey Trinity United Methodist Church, former member of its Spreng Memorial Guild and its Friendship Sunday School Class.
Surviving are son, Larry (Carol) Hetrick of Findlay, daughter, Liane (James) Jaquillard of Pemberville, son, Mark (Sandra) Hetrick of Lindsey; six grandchildren Melissa (Jay) Gambrell, Tony (Leslie) Hetrick, Mary Jaquillard, Matt (Julie) Jaquillard, Thomas Hetrick, Susanna Hetrick and three great grandchildren Leah Hetrick, Noah Hetrick and Charlotte Gambrell.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Lindsey Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsey where the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
