Wilma L. Hetrick, 75 of Fremont, died early Monday morning at her residence. She was born on December 10, 1929 to Milton Christopher and Ruth (Kneisel) Leimbach in Sandusky, Ohio. Wilma graduated from Berlin Heights High School. On July 8, 1950 she married Robert Hetrick in Huron, Ohio and he survives. Wilma was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Truth Circle at church, Sandusky Twp. Mothers Study Club, Golden Threads, played on several Pinochle clubs and following her grandchildrens sports activities. She enjoyed exercising at the YMCA, and volunteered at the hospital and the former Quality Care Center.
She is also survived by sons, Dale and Douglas of Fremont, Dean (Penny) of Helena, daughter, Donna (Dave) Fate of Fremont, son David of Atlanta, GA, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and brother, Calvin (Doris) Leimbach of Lima, OH.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church where her body will lie in state one hour prior to the services, with Pastor Paul Gruetter officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
Donations may be made in Wilmas name to Grace Lutheran Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
