Audrey M Hotz

Audrey M. Hotz, 99 of Fremont died on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Countryside Continuing Care Center. She was born on March 14, 1911 in Fremont to John and Martha (Lorenz) Moneghan. Audrey was a 1929 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On June 24, 1939 she married Gerald Hotz at St. Josephs rectory and he preceded her in death September 1988. Audrey was a homemaker, mother and a clerk at Newberrys for nineteen years. She also volunteered at St. Joseph School Cafeteria for over thirty years. Audrey was a member of the American Red Cross, the St. Francis Guild and the K of C Rosettes.

Surviving is a daughter, Carol Hotz, son Gary (Sue Ann) Hotz all of Fremont; two grandchildren, Jennifer Cox and Julie Celek; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler & Miranda Cox, Allison, Maxwell & Mason Celek. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Carl Moneghan, sisters, Helen Heyman and Henrietta Matatall.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Don Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
