Evelyn R. Howell

Evelyn R. Howell, 78, of Gibsonburg, died Thursday evening at Toledo Hospital. She was born on May 16, 1926 in Clyde, OH to Ralph H. and Hazel (Winnie) Pinsky. Evelyn attended Clyde schools and married Richard T. Howell on May 26, 1961 in Clyde and he died August 16, 1993. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg, and the American Legion Post 17, Gibsonburg. Evelyn was a waitress at Smittys Restaurant and Hoys Restaurant and was a homemaker. Surviving are children, Alberta Kirsch, Fremont, Larry Howell and Sandy Kreais of Gibsonburg, stepson Richard Howell, Fremont, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and a sister Opal Earlings, Cleveland.

Preceding Evelyn in death are parents, husband, sons Walter & Rodney Smallets, brothers Dean, Thomas and Richard Pinsky and sister Ann Mayle.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn- Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 7 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fritz Merkes officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
