Nellie Ruth Hudson

Nellie R. Hudson, age 67 and a resident of Lindsey, Ohio died Thursday evening, July 28, at the Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. She was born on April 2, 1938 in Fremont to Jeremiah and Dorothy (LeFever) Cooley. Nellie graduated from Ross High School and in 1964 she married William A. Hudson. He preceded her in death in 2002. Nellie was a loving wife and homemaker, also working at the S.E. Hyman company for a number of years. She was a former member of the Fremont Baptist Temple and she enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts and she especially loved her cats and dogs. Surviving is a son, Arthur E. (Paula) Hudson of Zanesville, OH; sisters, Emma Mae Mason of Fremont, Anna Rose Tracy of Fremont, Mary Domokos of Port Clinton, Freda Risch of Fremont; brothers, Jeremiah Cooley of Green Springs, William Cooley of Fremont, Arthur Cooley of Fremont; grandson, Trevor and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jeremiah, sisters, Elizabeth Lindsey and Catherine Laubacher and an infant brother, Harry David Cooley. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Daryl Hanson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde. Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs, Bethesda Care Center, Fremont or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
