Darrell Jim Hutton, 67, of Gibsonburg died Tuesday morning, May 9, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, OH. He was born on October 16, 1938 in Woodville, OH to the now deceased, Daryl and Stella (Gottchalk) Hutton. On June 2, 1960 he married Connie Ruch at Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg and she survives. Jim was an U.S. Army Veteran and worked in maintenance for the Pfizer Lime Plant for 25 years and also the Textilleather Corp. in Toledo, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg and the Fremont Pigeon Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, television and his four dogs.
Also surviving are children Lesa (Mark) Hemminger of Gibsonburg, Scott (Margaret) Hutton of Bradner, Rhonda (Randy) Hutton of Gibsonburg, Jason (Angie) Hutton of Clyde, 13 grandchildren; sisters, Joan Skaggs of Helena and Doris Bickers of Girton. He is preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild and brother, Arthur (Mick) Hutton.
Arrangements are being handled by the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
