Jean Johnson, 64, of Fremont died Tuesday night at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon. She was born on February 16, 1939 to Carl and Marguerite (Mortz) Holbrook in Martin, OH and they are deceased. She graduated from Genoa High School, and had worked for Countryside Continuing Care Center as a dietary aide for five years until the onset of her illness. She was an avid fan of Dirt track racing and NASCAR. Surviving are children, Kevin & Kim Johnson of Fremotn, Melody Cooley of Atlanta, GA, and Dawn Johnson also of Fremont and three grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Ronald of Walbridge, Charles and Gordon both of Oak Harbor, and Douglas Holbrook of Port Clinton, along with twin sister, Joan Holbrook of Fremont. Jean was preceded in death by a niece Christina Holbrook. Burial was at Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa.
