Ernest l. Kaseman, 89, of Gibsonburg died Sunday at home. He was born in bradner to the now-deceased Henry and Theresa (Myers) Kaseman. On Feb. 15, 1947, he married Betty Grindstaff and she died in 1997. Ernest was a laborer at Martin Marietta Lime Plant, Woodville, until retiring in 1979. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Ernest was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and a life-member of the American Legion. Surviving are daughters, Nancy (Randy) Williams of Halifax, VA and Amy (David) Ruggiero of Gibsonburg; sons, Fred (Connie) Kaseman of Pemberville and David (Natalie) Kaseman of Gibsonburg; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Alvena VanNess, Hhenrietta Damschroder, Hilda Clifton and Viola Henry; and brother, Harold Kaseman. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, William Leonard and sister, Lucille Fair. Burial: West Union Cemetery Memorials: Heartland Hospice of Tiffin or the Gibsonburg Veterans Memorial.
