Mary Lou Kinsey, 85, of Fremont, died early Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Valley View Care Center. She was born on August 7, 1923 in Clyde to George and Alma (Smith) Rogers. Mary Lou was a 1941 graduate of Clyde High School and had attended Tiffin Business University. On June 5, 1948 she married Ralph Kinsey at. St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Clyde and he survives. Mary Lou was a secretary at the Erie Proving Grounds, and then she worked for Columbia Gas, retiring after 25 years as a deputy clerk in the Sandusky County Treasurer Office for Virgil Swartzlander. Mary Lou enjoyed guitar lessons, cross stitch, bowling on different leagues, playing euchre, going to flea markets, collecting antiques and collectibles. She also enjoyed travel and loved her grand and great-grandchildren. Mary Lou was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Surviving are children, Gregg of Clyde, Connie (Tom) Haaser, Pam (Earl) Bargerstock both of Fremont; grandchildren, Dawn Jeffers, Molly Kinsey, Rex & Jay Kinsey, Kim (Jim) Sayre, Karen (Todd) Curtis, Chad Kinsey and Marc Bargerstock; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pat (Bill) Schaffer of Marion, Peggy Meyers of Bellevue and Richard Rogers of Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral services will be on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. with one hour of visitation at church prior to the services. Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice in Mary Lous memory.
