Thomas E. Lease

Thomas Lease, 64 of Helena, died Tuesday evening at his home. He was born on April 16, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to Lynn and Mary (Montgomery) Lease. Thomas attended JBJ High School in Boswell, PA and served in the US Army and the Reserve during peacetime. He worked as an ironworker for Gurtzweiler Company in Toledo for 41 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Union Local 55 of the Ironworkers and was an avid hunter and sportsman. On December 24, 1981, he married Sandy (Sissy) Heminger in Helena and she survives. Surviving are children Tammy (Craig) Breegle, Tracy (Jeff) Weimer both of Rockwood, PA, Kelly (Bruce) Eller of Somerset, PA, Tonya (Mark) Kirsch of Gibsonburg, Ronnie (Tina) Adams of Helena, Dave Adams of Toledo; brother, Blaine (Regina) Lease of Pleasant Lake, IN; sisters, Judy (Lease) Haupt of Norwalk, OH, Toni (John Schlup) Bennett of Angola, IN; brother, Jimmy Montgomery of Austin, TX; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Fred (Mary Guirbino) Lease.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 5th from 7 9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. A military graveside service will be held on Saturday at West Union Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. The honor guard of the Gibsonburg Post of the American Legion and Pastor David Stogsdill will be officiating.
