Jeffrey Lechman

Gibsonburg resident, Jeffrey Jeff E. Lechman, 60, died Saturday morning, September 15, 2007 at Windsor Lane Health Care Center, Gibsonburg. He was born in Fremont to the now deceased Fred Fritz G. and Alma (Kaemming) Lechman. on September 26, 1946. Jeff graduated from Gibsonburg High School and attended Davis Business College. Jeff owned and operated his own floral shop in W. Jefferson, Ohio for 20 years Designs By Jeff until his retirement due to health issues. He was a member of the Ohio Jaycees Senate and the Ohio Jaycees, along with acting and singing with different theater groups all his life. Jeff was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Gibsonburg.

Jeff is survived by his brother James F. (Christine) Lechman, Sr. of Fremont; 2 nieces and 1 nephew along with 6 great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister; Sandra Lechman.

Visitation will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg on Monday September 17, 2007 from 6-8PM. The funeral will take place, Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the church at 11:00AM, Pastor Fritz Merkes will officiate, visitation will also be held prior to the service starting at 9:30 AM. Burial will take place at W. Union Cemetery directly following the funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or to the Family. Arrangements are entrusted with Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
