Kaye A. (Hasselbach) Letzring, 57 of Fremont, died Friday morning at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on January 24, 1949 in Fremont to Norman and Alma (Kiser) Hasselbach. Kaye was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. On March 2, 1968 she married Jerry D. Letzring at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Latimer, Iowa and he survives. Kaye was an administrative assistant at Community Health Services for 20 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Breast Cancer Support Group, the Grief Support Group at Grace Lutheran Church. Kaye enjoyed her grandchildren, boating and gardening.
Surviving is a son, Steve (Stephani) Letzring of Waterville, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ohms, Hanna Letzring, Mighan Ohms; son in law, Jeff (Lori) Ohms; her mother, Alma of Fremont and sister Gail (Dennis) Henderson of Wilmington, NC. She is preceded in death by her father, brother Gary Hasselbach, October 11, 2006 and daughter, Debra Ohms, July 15, 2000.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church where there will be visitation one hour prior to the services. Pastor Paul Gruetter and Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Accessibility Fund, or Donors Choice.
