John A. Lipstraw

John A. Lipstraw, 46 formerly of Lindsey, died Wednesday afternoon, July 6th at the Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Fremont. He was born on December 23, 1958 to Arlyn and Carolyn (Overmyer) Lipstraw in Port Clinton, OH. John was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School class of 1977 and earned his Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Economics from the Ohio State University. John worked as a contractor and owned and operated the Lebstreu Builders of Columbus. On February 1, 2003 he married Sharon (Berger) Evans and she survives. John was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Fraternity Alumni.

Surviving are daughters Adrienne, Allegra and Alexandria Lipstraw all of Westerville; stepdaughters, Pamela and Rebecca Evans both of Lindsey; his parents and a brother James (Nancy) Lipstraw, of Lindsey. His sister, Mary Beth, precedes him in death.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 10 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont.

Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., St. Johns Lutheran Church where visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
