Marguerite A. Little, 103, of Fremont passed away Sunday evening, September 2, 2007 at the Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born in Fremont on June 12, 1904 to Earnest & Ella (Nesbitt)Wolfe.
On December 15, 1923 she married Alva Little in Fremont. They were married for 48 years until his passing in 1971.
Marguerite worked for Howard Zink, Erie Proving Grounds during WWII driving truck, and she was a furrier working at Bixler Furs for 30 years. She was a member of the W-B Card Club, Rebekkah Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star, Fremont. In addition to her clubs she was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fremont and enjoyed camping and crocheting.
She is survived by her children; Marland (Dorothy) Little, Fremont, Jeanette (Harold) Friar, Fremont, Donald (Loma) Little, Eagle River Alaska; brothers; Lincoln Wolfe, Fremont, sisters Louise Kemner Pemberville, Delores Tolhurst Fremont; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Marguerite is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jack Robert, daughter; JoAnn Druckenmiller, two grandsons Gary & Terry Druckenmiller, two great-great-grandsons; Travis Druckenmiller and Hayden Swartz, brothers Dewey, Gerald, Herbert, James, Franklin, Lester and Ernest Wolfe, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the funeral home at 10:30 AM with Pastor William J. McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Care Center Activities Department or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
