June Long, 73, of Findlay, died early Tuesday morning in Fremont. She was born on June 19, 1934 in Salesville, OH to Homer and Lillian (Hull) Millhon. June was a 1952 graduate of Lore City High School. On February 14, 1954 she married Harold D. Long in Lore City Methodist Church and he survives. June was employed by Marathon Oil in the housekeeping department for ten years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, traveling, cooking, baking and spending time with her friends and family. Surviving in addition to her husband, are her mother, Lillian of Cambridge, OH; son, Rick D. (Violet Madonia) of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Jason N. Kinn of Fremont; sisters, Mariella (Don) DuBois of Wooster and Joyce Goodwin of Cambridge. She is preceded in death by her father, daughter, Phyllis L. Lori Kinn in 1997 and sister, Lila Yansura. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump officiating. A gathering with be held directly after the services at Grace Lutheran Church, 705 W. State Street, Fremont, Ohio 43420. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to be made to the American Diabetes Association, Northwest Chapter Service Area, 3178 Republic Blvd. N., Toledo, OH 43615 or to Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 S. Main St., Clyde, OH 43410.
