Anita (Pippins) Mauch, age 56, of Lindsey, OH died Tuesday morning October 6th at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. She was born on January 21, 1953 in Temple, Texas to George and Virginia (Jackson) Pippins. Anita graduated from Temple High School and completed marketing courses in business college. On April 25, 1986 she married Ronald Mauch at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville, OH. She worked as a district sales manager for Ginger Pet Products in Toledo until the birth of her son, Carl.
Anita was a loving wife and mother. Her life was devoted to her home and family. She was a supermom and was a great cook. For several years, Anita has also been volunteering at the Gibsonburg Schools.
Surviving are her are her husband Ronald and son Carl of Lindsey; brothers, Odis (Mary) Pippins, Aubrey Pippins, Kenneth Pippins all of TX; and sister Kathy (Grant) Gulledge of TX. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 10, 2009, 3-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville, where visitation will start at 2 p.m. Pastor Dennis Wansitler will officiate. Burial will be at Elmore-Harris Union Cemetery.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio or to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
