Peggy Sue Mauch-Wearsch

Peggy Mauch-Wearsch, 61 of Gibsonburg died Sat. Aug. 13, 2011 at St. Charles Hospital. She was born on Aug. 11, 1950 to Chester & Betty (Evans) Mauch in Fremont. Peggy earned her Bachelors Degree in Education at Bowling Green State University and her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Toledo. For 28 years she was a professor at Terra Community College. Traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with her granddaughter were all great pastimes for her, and her love of Harley Motorcycles enabled her to do them. Peggy was called the family angel for caring for any in need.

Surviving are her parents; husband, Dan Wearsch; children, Nik (Megan) Wearsch of Painsville, OH and Johanna Wearsch of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Olivia Wearsch; siblings, Phyllis K. (Michael) Bergman, Barbi J. Mauch, Ronald C. Mauch and Judy L. Mauch; Stepchildren: Deborah Walker, David P. (Jennifer) Wearsch, Tina (Scott) Sears, Kathi (Joel) Lancaster & Kameena (Jim) Maines; step grandchildren: Samantha, Erik & Elizabeth Walker; Loren, Meredith, Peter, Daniel P. Jr. (Michelle) Wearsch; Amanda Sears; Nikolaus & Morgan Lancaster; Glenn, Alexander & Dylan Maines. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Lou Mauch and sister-in-law Anita Mauch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 18th 2011 beginning 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hessville. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Dennis Wansitler will officiate. A private burial will be held at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery.
