Pauline M. McGarvey

Pauline M. McGarvey, 93, died Saturday morning at The Arbors At Clyde. She was born in Lindsey on February 20, 1912 to Benjamin and Edith (Overmyer) Burkett. On July 20, 1935 she married Kenneth McGarvey in Lindsey, OH and he died September 13, 2001. Mrs. McGarvey was a 1930 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, and also a graduate of The Flower Hospital School Of Nursing, Toledo, OH in 1933. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church, Fremont, and was a Red Cross Volunteer as a nurse for the Blood Mobile.

Surviving Pauline is one daughter, Patricia (Dorr) Scheerer, Clyde, OH; one granddaughter Amy Christine, Lexington, KY, and one grandson, Steven Scheerer, Toledo, OH; one sister, Beneda Opelt, Lindsey, OH; Preceding her in death are her parents, two sisters, Melba Weaver and Corrinne Suter; one brother Benjamin Burkett.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at The Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont with visitation one hour Prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.

Memorials may be made to The First Presbyterian Church, Fremont.
