Lucille V. Miarer, 94 previously of Fremont died early Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Elmwood Nursing Home, Green Springs. She was born on January 22, 1914 in Toledo, Ohio to the now deceased George and Flossie (Dunham) Messer. Lucille graduated from Scott High School in Toledo and attended the Robinwood Nursing School. On November 29, 1934 she married Earl Miarer in Toledo and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1997. Lucille was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Farm Bureau. She was a loving homemaker and mother, grandmother, helped her husband with the farm, volunteered at Memorial Hospital for 30 years and worked on the Election Board.
Surviving are her children; son, David (Anna) Miarer of Fremont, triplet daughters, Jane (Alan) Swanson of Little River, SC, Jean Oswald of Toledo and Joan (Ben) Lehmann of Kansas, OH; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Ralph Messer.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Four Mile House Cemetery with Pastor Bob Young officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or a charity of the donors choice in Lucilles memory.
