Olive Miller

Olive Miller, 89, of Fremont died early Monday morning at Parkview Care Center. She was born in Jackson Township in Sandusky County to Frank J. and Christina S. (Ratzingber) Wammes. Olive married LaMar Miller on Feb. 17, 1933, and he died Nov. 1, 1987. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont, the Womens Home Mission Society, Golden Age Pinochle Club, the Senior Center and was a volunteer at Countryside Continuing Care Center and Grace Lutheran Church. Olive was a bookkeeper at Rural Serve/Country Spring until retiring in 1977. Surviving are daughter, Marilyn J. (William) Davis, Zephry Hills, FL; sons, LaMar A. (Evon) Miller Jr., Yucca Valley, CA, and Lonnie A. (Sharon) Miller, Concord, OH; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Lloyd E. Wammes, Sandusky. She is preceded by her parents, husband, son, Terry Lee Miller, sisters, Ida Overmeir, Helena St. John, Esther Wagner, Hilda Penn, Lucille Gonya and brother, Frank J. Wammes Jr. Visitation: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: McGormley Cemetery. Memorials: Grace Lutheran Church.
