Cleo R. Myers, 88, of Gibsonburg died Friday evening at Windsor Lane Health Care Center, Gibsonburg. He was born on April 19, 1919 in Gibsonburg to John & Iva (Bodi) Myers. Cleo graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1938. In 1950, he married Norma Jean Kraegel in Napoleon, OH and she died June 18, 2001. Cleo worked at National Gypsum as a Lime Packer and then worked at the Sugar Beet Plant in Fremont until his retirement in 1976, and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Gibsonburg. Surviving is one daughter, Barbara Jean Myers, Hilliard, OH, one son, John Myers of Fremont; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Six brothers and six sisters preceded him in death. There will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be at West Union Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
