Joseph St. Clair Nesbitt, 80, formerly of Fremont, died late Thursday evening at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. He was born on August 13, 1926 in Fremont to the now deceased Joseph W. and Clara M. (Buehrer) Nesbitt. Joseph attended Fremont Ross High School and served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a truck driver for 43 years, who owned and operated his own truck. Then he worked for Signal Delivery in Clyde. He retired in 1998. On October 14, 1950 he married Thelma Cleo Massie in Vandalia. She died January 30, 1996. Surviving are daughters, Sherry (TJ) Railey of Woodbury, GA and Cathy L. Twining of Fremont; grandchildren, Joseph (Tammy) Harrison of Manchester, GA, Rick Dinan of Casper, WY, Tammy Harrison of Redondo Beach, CA, Jeni (Tom) Lozier of Clyde, Eric (Liz)Twining of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren, Austin McHugh, Alesha McHugh, Dalton Lozier, Karlee Lozier all of Clyde, Tyler Lozier and Trevor Lozier of Chesapeake, VA, Jana Leigh of Hodges, SC and Blair Turbyfield of Manchester, GA; brother, Lyle B. Reichert of Elyria. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Lillian Folk, brothers, Robert W. Reichert and Darwin A. Reichert. Visitation will be on Monday, March 12 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Quillen officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Fremont American Legion and VFW. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde at a later date. Memorials may be made to Donors Choice, St. Johns Lutheran Church or the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
