Ruth G. Otermat

Ruth G. Otermat, 91, formerly of Buckland Ave., died Sunday evening at Elmwood Assisted Living. She was born in Green By, WI to the now-deceased James and Grace (Benner) Tracy. Ruth was a 1930 graduate of Ross High School and 1933 graduate of Bowling Green Teachers College. Whe married Ezra Otermat on July 24, 1937 at Grace Lutheran Church. He died Sept. 8, 1987. Surviving are sons, Michael (Linda) Otermat of Napoleon, and Jim (Linda) Otermat of Fremont; grandchildren, Thomas (Pam) Otermat of Lake Wales, FL, Kim (Mike) Bossetti of Marblehead, Matthew (Jill) Otermat of Fremont and Jill Otermat of Portland, OR; great-grandchildren, Derek, Nicole and Kayla Otermat, Katie, Michael, Nichols and Sarah Bossetti, Nate, Amber and Miranda Otermat; nieces and nephews; sister, Jane (Gary) Miels of West Palm Beach, FL. She is preceded by her parents, husband and sister, Bernice "Bunny" Davis. Visitation was on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2004 at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services were held at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
