Glendora Parish

Glendora Parish, 98 of Fremont, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Valley View Care Center. She was born on March 14, 1912 in Fostoria to Martin and Mae (Cunningham) Drenning. In 1928 she married James Parish in Blissfield, MI and he preceded her in death in 1974. Mary enjoyed reading, flower gardening and loved to play Scrabble.

Surviving is her daughter Donna (John D.) Johnson of Castalia; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Patricia Merrill and Glenna Smith, sons James Eugene, Larry Lee and David; grandson, David Lee Snyder; brothers, Carl & Harry Drenning and sisters, Marie Drenning, Virginia Overmyer and Velma Nitschke.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-9 PM at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.

Services will be held on Saturday 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Chaplin Tom Goossens officiating.

Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery.
