William Lee Ray

William Billy L. Ray, 74, of Risingsun died early Monday morning at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1931 in Glouster, OH to the late William J. and Hazel (Hough) Ray. Bill served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict, in Korea. He was a laborer at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria for a number of years. Bill was an avid fisherman and gambler.

Surviving are daughter, Gail (Steven) Stump of Risingsun, son, David of Bradner, daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Kowalski of Toledo, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Ray, Ted (Vicki) Ray; sisters Charlene Campbell and Debra Ringer all of Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Ray Erickson officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery in Perrysburg.
