Gibsonburg resident, Irene E. Reinbolt, 83, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Genoa Care Center. She was born on October 13, 1926 in Genoa, OH to Joe and Mary (Panyuscik) Kocvia Sr. Irene was a 1945 graduate of Genoa High School. On January 20, 1951 she married Alvin M. Reinbolt at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Genoa and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2001. Irene was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Gibsonburg and the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting. During her younger years she worked as a payroll clerk at Kelley Island Lime & Transport and also in the office at the Hilfinger Company in Toledo. Irene stopped working to raise her children before returning to the work force. She cared for many patients working as an aid for Windsor Lane in Gibsonburg and Portage Valley in Pemberville.
Surviving is a son, Art (Jill) Reinbolt of Oak Harbor and daughter, Rozella Cindy Lou (Bill) Kuhlman of Woodville, OH; five grandchildren; brother, Joe Kocvai Jr.; sisters Margaret Body and Helen Padgett. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Ronald.
Visitation will be on Sunday at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Michaels Catholic Church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
