Phyllis A. Ridenour 78 of Fremont died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her home. She was born on June 23, 1929 in Gibsonburg to the now deceased Earnest and Lulu (Gackstettler) Risenberg. Phyllis was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School. She was the head of the Sample Department at Ludlow Composites for 51 years. On March 3, 1953 she married William Ridenour in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death in 1996. Phyllis was a member of Shilo United Methodist Church, the Eagles, Moose and the American Quarter Horse Association. She loved her Yellow Lab, Bo. Surviving are her children, William Pat (Jennie) Ridenour, Toni L. (Roger) Ohms, all of Helena; grandchildren, Austin Will Ridenour, Andrew Daniel Elias, Matthew (Nikki) Ohms, Kevin (Dannielle) Ohms and Jason (Nicole) Ohms; sister, Mildred Burns; and lifelong friend, Mary E. Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Glen Risenberg.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 11, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Hartman officiating. Burial will be at West Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Helena Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Shilo United Methodist Church, Helena in Phyllis memory.
