Marilyn Riedmaier

Marilyn Riedmaier, 78, of Fremont died Friday morning, January 25, 2008 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1929 in Fremont to the now deceased Aloysious Ollie and Irene (Foos) Halm. On February 19, 1949 she married William Riedmaier at St. Anns Church in Fremont and he survives. Marilyn was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Anns Community. She also had a strong devotion to St. Jude. Marilyn loved all sports and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed golf, fishing and traveling to Florida.

Surviving are a son, William Jr. of Fremont; daughter, Debra (Randy Hoffman) Gillenwater-Hoffman of Tiffin; 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren & several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert, Richard & James Halm; a grandson, Sean Mulligan.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont, with a Wake Service in the evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 29th at 1 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Extejt officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary - St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont. Memorials may be made to the Sorrowful Mother Shrine in Bellevue or for Masses in her memory.
