Regina Rohm, 79 formerly of Fremont, died Monday afternoon at the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria. She was born on August 8, 1925 in Toledo to Valentine and Angela V. (Cholewinski) Nowak. In 1942 she married Raymond D. Rohm in Fremont and he died on March 27, 1995. Regina worked for the Fremont City Schools in the cafeteria and on the playground, delivered the News Messenger and was a homemaker. She loved gardening and was a member of the Plant n Bloom Garden Club (former president), Buttons and Bows Square Dance group, a den mother for Cub Scouts, and Blue Birds of Campfire Girls. She was also a member of the N.C.H.A. and Foxy Fanciers. Regina was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, knitting and working puzzles.
Surviving Regina are children, Yvonne A. (Marc) Wayland-Smith, Clyde, Randolph D. (Sheila) Rohm, Fremont, Rebecca A. Netherlands, Sandusky, Anita M. (Dale) Blount, Pt. Clinton, Roderick D. Rohm, Fremont, Veronica S. Rohm, Fremont, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a brother Joseph Nowak, Utah.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson 2 half sisters and 6 half brothers.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Plant n Bloom Garden Club.
