Blanca Rosa Sample

Former Gibsonburg resident, Blanca (Flores) Sample, 63, died peacefully Sunday evening at her Montgomery, TX home. She was born in Joyce, TX to Florencio and Agustine (Mesa) Flores. Her mother survives in Gibsonburg. Blanca retired in 1991 from St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon where she worked as a surgical instrument technician. She was a member of the April Sound Church in Montgomery and its Ladies Association. In 1991, she married Gail Sample in Las Vegas. He survives. Also surviving are children; Christina and Anthony Mendoza both of Walbridge, Sonia Jennings of Coolville, OH; stepchildren, Steven Sample of Toledo, Michael Sample of Sylvania, Keith Smple of Northwood, Scott and David Sample of Walbridge and Laura Keller of Gibsonburg; brothers, Florencio Jr. of TX, Rosendo fo Walbridge, Arturo "Archie" and Hector of Toledo and Joe of Bowling Green; sisters, Jane Boggs of Bradner and Mary Dander of Gibsonburg; many grandchildren.
