Christina G. Sanchez

Christina Garcia Sanchez, 94, of Adrian Michigan and formerly of Fremont, died Wednesday, February 23 while visiting Tiffin at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. She was born on July 12, 1911 in Uvalde, TX to Jose Angel & Arnulfa (Martinez) Garcia. Christina was a migrant worker and a laborer at the Red Cross Tomato plant in Pemberville. She was a previous member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Guadalupe Society.

Surviving Christina are children Pilar Martinez Sandoval, Abileen, TX, Genardo Sanchez of Hermiston, OR, Pantaleon Sanchez, Fostoria, 2 sisters, Lucia and Ramona both of Texas and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren with 5 generations of family surviving Christinia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother & sister.

Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Gerald Ceranowski officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
