Margaret Schwartz, 86, formerly of Lindsey died Tuesday morning at Countryside Continuing Care, Fremont. She was born on May 8, 1920 to the now deceased John and Margaret (Mueller) Keck in Cleveland, OH. Margaret was a coil winder at Eaton/Singer Controls until retiring in 1985. In 1954 she married Gail Schwartz and he died in 2002. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hessville. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Geller of Lindsey; 3 grandchildren, Pamela & Bernard Esker of Dublin, OH, Jeffrey & Robin Geller of North Canton, OH and Brian & Dawn Geller of Lindsey; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Louis) Geller of Elliston, OH, Ruth Cooper of Fremont and Betty Aldrich of Pahrump, NV. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers John and Philip Keck, 2 infant brothers and sister, Viola Eberflus.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Her body will lie in state at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday from 12:30 1:30 p.m. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Dennis Wansitler officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
