Laura Jean Sebert, 76 of Fremont died late Tuesday evening at Fremont Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 8, 1929 to August and Jennie (Winters) Behnke in Toledo. Laura attended Oak Harbor High School. She was a laborer in the molding department of Quickcut for a number of years and later she worked as a deli clerk for Foodtown retiring in 1994. Laura was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed flowers. Surviving are daughters, Kimberly (Brian) Smith of Fremont, Sue Ann Cooper of Sandusky; son, Steve Sebert of Corona, CA, and 6 grandchildren.
Her parents, a son, John in 1972 and brother Willie Behnke precede her in death.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 12th at Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Pinkerton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donors choice.
Arrangements are being handled by the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fremont.
