Former Fremont resident, Viola Vi Sieving, 84, died on Tuesday morning, June 3, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Clyde. She was born on August 31, 1923 in Bath, NY to the now deceased Homer and Martha (Reed) Kellogg. Viola was a 1941 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. On August 6, 1941 she married Harold A.K. Sieving and he preceded her in death in 1993. She had worked in the Meat Department at Krogers, retiring in 1977. Viola enjoyed reading, her grand and great- grandchildren, embroidering, latch hooking and volunteered at the South Main St. School in Clyde, she was known as The Computer Lady. Surviving are her daughter, Connie (Richard) Dagg of Clyde and son, Lanny (Jean) Sieving of Fremont; grandchildren, Traci (Keith) Davisson of Clyde, Larry Sieving of Fremont, Michelle (Pat) Breslin of Norwalk, Darla (Kurt) Jones of Helena and Shannon Dagg of Clyde; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Warren (Roberta) Kellogg of Clyde and Shirley (Lyle) Sibold of Vickery. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Dean Kellogg, eight infant siblings and a great-grandson, Evan Sieving. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 4th from 4-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. A service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
