Norma J. Spanfellner

October 25, 1925 — October 3, 2006

Norma J. Spanfellner, 80 of Gibsonburg, went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning. She was born on October 25, 1925 in rural Perrysburg to the now deceased William and Pearl (Carpenter) Keppler. Norma was a 1943 graduate of Perrysburg High School. On March 23, 1946 she married Billy Parlette and he died October 9, 1949. On June 14, 1952 she married Harmon Spanfellner in North Baltimore, OH and he died June 20, 1988. Norma was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg, the Gibsonburg Garden Club and the Mary-Martha Quilting Society. Surviving are sons, Tom (Pat) Parlette of Gibsonburg, Michael Spanfellner of Gibsonburg, John (Kathy) Spanfellner of Danville, OH; daughter, Becky (Steve) Ruth of Helena, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Klumm of Swanton, OH.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers, Clyde & Fred Keppler; sisters, Mabel Sherman, Beulah Wagner, Dorothy Swartz, Ethel Moe & Thelma Keppler and 1 grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Blair Miller officiating. Burial will be at Elliston Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: The Gideons International or Bethesda Care Center Golden Bridge Unit.
