Theodore Ted Stricker, 51, of Helena, died at his home early Wednesday morning, May 31, 2006. He was born on November 25, 1954 to the now deceased Felix Stricker and Ruth (Dudgeon) Stricker Brockmueller. Ted was a 1973 graduate of Gibsonburg High School and was a self employed mechanic until he was involved in a swimming accident in 1979 and lived as a quadriplegic ever since. He was taken care of for the last nine years by a loving companion, Holly Coble. Ted really loved stock car and drag racing, auto mechanics, watching funny movies, spending time with Holly and his mother, and the nice weather so he could be out just riding around in his wheelchair. Surviving is a son, Matthew (Tiffany) Twiss of Fremont, brothers, Tom Stricker of Sacramento, CA and Jim (Janice) Stricker of Helena; loving companion and caretaker, Holly Coble of Helena; two grandchildren; one nephew and three nieces. Ted was preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Millersville. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Church, Millersville with Fr. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Millersville. Memorial donations may be made to donors favorite Childrens Charity or donors choice.
