Dorothy Marie Thomson

Dorothy Marie Thomson, 85, of Fremont died Tuesday morning, March 08, 2005, at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Springfield Township, Holland, OH. Dorothy was born May 30, 1919 in Clyde, Oh to William and Sophia (Gahn) Busdicker. On September 26, 1941 she married Ralph A. Thomson. He passed away on January 19, 1981. Dorothy was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Fremont and its Abigail Circle. She was an Auxiliary member of Gideons International. She was a homemaker and also worked as a monogrammer. Dorothy is survived by daughters Brenda (John) Hetrick of Fremont and Martha (Joseph) Widman of Monclova; brother Howard (Ginny) Busdicker of Sandusky; sister Esther (Nelson) Gibson of Fremont and six grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers William Jr. & Frederick Busdicker, and sister Lucille Reed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 10:30 a.m., at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Fremont where her body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Family and friends will be received at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Fremont, Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde. Memorials may be made to the church, Gideons International or to the Overseas Missionary Fellowship/Thailand Mission.
