Barbara Mary Tice

Barbara Mary Tice, 74 formerly of Gibsonburg died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Birchaven Nursing Home, Findlay. She was born on March 19, 1935 in Saginaw, MI to Sebastian & Theresia (Schrems) Hozeska. Barbara graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Saginaw, MI. She married Lloyd A. Tice on September 27, 1954 in Goshen, IN and they later divorced and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1990. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, gardening, watching birds and reading. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Barbara worked for Capital Plastics in Bowling Green as a foreman for quality control. Surviving are her children; Debra (Doug Kenny) Vitte of Riverview, FL, Theresa (Fred) Watson of McClure, Jennifer (Dave) Cramer of Findlay, Pamela (Alex) Dedes of Oak Harbor and Gregory Tice of Fremont. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and siblings; Eugene Hozeska, Don (Sandy) Hozeska, Alice Baldys, Robert (Nancy) Hozeska, Frank (Janet) Hozeska, Raymond Hozeska all of MI and Kay (James) Russell of KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, and siblings; Florence Hoffman and Joe Hozeska. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 12 noon to 1 PM with funeral services beginning at 1 PM with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St Lawrence Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
