Betty L. Waggoner, 94, of 916 North St., Bethany Place died Thursday, June 16, 2011. She was born on December 17, 1916 in Sandusky County to the now deceased Clyde M. and Olive Mae (Jackson) Waggoner. Betty was born and raised and lived in Lindsey, OH until she moved to Bethany Place in 1996. She was a 1935 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She worked for Washington Township School (now Washington Elementary School) for 47 years as a secretary, librarian and cafeteria manager. Betty was a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of the Eastern Star and Lindsey Garden Club. She was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was an active resident at Bethany Place where she was the organizer for pinochle. Betty enjoyed doing word puzzles, bingo and loved the Cleveland Indians. Betty was a beloved friend and a member of the Robert Hetrick, Raymond Nagan and Robert Kuth families who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, with one hour of visitation prior. Pastor Bob Young will officiate. Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Place in Bettys memory, or to a charity of the donors choice.
