Ruth Ellen Wammes

Ruth Ellen Wammes, 80, of Front St., died at home early Friday morning. She was born in Toledo to Mattes and Jessie Kirsch and they are deceased. On June 22, 1940, she married Joseph S. Wammes in Fremont and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1998. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are children, Richard J. Wammes of Fremont and Judith A. Hoffman of Lebanon, TN; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by borther Mattes "Sonny" Kirsch. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
