John C. Watson, Jr., 75, died Sunday night at his Burgoon home. He was born in Mancelona, MI to John C. Sr. and Irma (Dean) Watson. He served in the military during WWII and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Fremont VFW, a member of the Fremotn Moose Lodge and the Bettsville American Legion. On. Oct. 26, 1985, he married Sharon L. Humberg and she survives. Also surviving are children, John Watson III of Sturgis, MI and Toni Wolfe of White Pigeon, MI; stepchildren, Tami (Andy) Weyant) Perez and Dannell (Virgil) Brown all of Burgoon; brothers, Kenneth (Shirley) Watson of Hillman, MI, Cebert (Bonnie) Watson of Glennie, MI, James (Zonda) Watson of Davison, MI, Robert (Ann) Watson of Lachine, MI, Larry (Diana) Watson of Fairview, MI, Duane (Gloria) Watson of Oscoda, MI and Douglas and Ronald of Flint, MI and Dana (Michael) Moore of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, John IV, Robbie, Mandi, Rudy, Renee, Paige and Allie; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Katie, Michael, Susan and Carley; numerous nieces and nephews.
