Florence W. Weber, 90 of Gibsonburg, died early Monday morning, February 12 at Windsor Lane Health Care Center, Gibsonburg. She was born on July 19, 1916 in Gibsonburg to the now deceased Edward and Mary (Fehlhaber) Ory. On April 22, 1934 she married Clifford Weber at Zion Lutheran Church, Gibsonburg. He died October 9, 1966. Florence was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Women of the Church, Zion Befriender Club, the adult Sunday School Class, WSOS and a volunteer at the Gibsonburg Health Care Center. Florence also enjoyed various crafts and word puzzles.
Surviving are children, Phyllis (Agie) Estep of Gibsonburg, Willis (Carnetta) Weber of Helena, Janice (Fred) Black of Gibsonburg and Dennis (Minnie) Weber of Fremont, 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Lois Shively of Gibsonburg. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Raymond, Harry and Carl Ory, sisters, Marilyn Ory and Erita Cress, and one granddaughter, Kathy Weber.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services will be held on Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with one hour of visitation at the church prior to the services. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
